The Klein Tools 1659-40 Chicago® Grip is designed specifically for pulling PVC-covered conductors without needing to strip the insulation first. Its specially machined serpentine jaws allow the insulated conductor to pass through the jaws while helping reduce slippage and potential insulation damage.
Manufactured from custom drop-forged, heat-treated steel, the grip is built for demanding professional wire-pulling applications. The round inside-jaw contour provides secure contact with the conductor, while the spring-assisted mechanism and locking handle make positioning easier.
