The Klein Tools 1613-40H Chicago® Grip is designed for pulling aircraft cable, EHS, messenger and guy strand cable with diameters from 0.12″ to 0.37″ (3.05–9.40 mm). Its Double-V jaw design provides four points of contact to help reduce slipping while maintaining proper alignment of the wire or cable.
The integrated hot-line latch allows the grip to be positioned on a cable using a hot-line stick. Once the stick is removed, the latch closes automatically to help prevent the grip from accidentally disengaging. The grip is manufactured from custom drop-forged steel that is machined and heat-treated for durability.
