The Klein Tools 1656-30H Chicago® Grip with Latch is designed for pulling bare and insulated conductors, including copper, ACSR and AAC cable. Its round, smooth inside-jaw contour provides maximum contact with stranded copper cables while helping to minimise cable deformation during pulling operations.
The integrated hot-line latch allows the grip to be positioned on the conductor using a hot-line stick. Once the stick is removed, the latch closes automatically to help prevent the grip from accidentally disengaging. Three notches in the latch allow the balance of the grip to be adjusted to better follow the direction of cable sag.
