The Klein Tools 1604-20L Haven’s Grip with Swing Latch is a compact wire-pulling grip designed for messenger and guy strand applications where conductor deformation is not a concern. Manufactured from custom drop-forged steel, the grip is machined and heat treated for durability and dependable performance in utility and industrial environments.
The aggressive knurled jaw accommodates cable diameters from 0.125″ to 0.5″ (3.18 to 12.7 mm), while the swing latch helps retain the cable securely in the jaw. With a maximum safe load of 5,000 lb (2,268 kg), it provides substantial pulling capacity in a relatively compact tool.
