The Klein Tools 63700 Heavy-Duty Ratcheting Cutter is designed for demanding cutting applications involving steel, ACSR, ACAR, copper and aluminium cable. Its ratchet-action mechanism provides high leverage with reduced effort, making it suitable for cutting large-diameter and heavy-duty cable.
Forged, heat-treated shear-type blades provide strength and durability, while the long steel handles feature heavy vinyl grips for improved comfort and slip resistance. A blade-advance knob quickly moves the blade into contact with the cable, and the quick-release mechanism allows material to be removed before completing a cut if required.
