The Klein Tools 1685-31 Parallel Jaw Grip is a lightweight, compact grip designed for pulling a wide range of cable sizes and types, including messenger cable, EHS and guy strand. Its round inside-jaw contour provides maximum cable contact to help minimise conductor damage, while the serrated lower jaw provides a firm grip on insulated cables and conductors.
The grip features a hot latch and spring, with a latch designed to help prevent the grip from falling if the jaws disengage from the cable. A large-diameter eye accommodates larger hooks used on hoists, winches and tackle blocks. With a maximum safe load of 7,500 lb (3,400 kg), it is designed for demanding professional cable-pulling applications.
