The Klein Tools 1647724 Wide Range Distribution Grip is designed specifically for pulling EHS, aircraft, messenger and guy strand cable. Its wide gripping range accommodates cable diameters from 0.162″ to 0.883″ (4.11 to 22.42 mm), reducing the need for multiple grips across different cable sizes.
The one-handed design makes the grip easier to position and operate, while the spring mechanism closes the grip onto the cable to help maintain its initial position. Alternating sawtooth jaw geometry provides increased grip strength, and the large handle opening accommodates a variety of hooks used with hoists, winches and tackle blocks. The grip is 50% lighter than Klein’s KT4600 and has a maximum safe load of 5,000 lb (2,268 kg).
